MOTOROLA LATEST PRODUCT | MOTOROLA LATEST XOOM

Motorola To Launch A Successor To The XOOM

Other specs of the Android 4.0 tablet could include a 10" display and the NVIDIA Kal El quad core processor

The tablet market is currently heating up with new additions, and according to new rumours, Motorola will be launching a new 10.1" Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) tablet. Even though there is no mention of the Tegra 3 (Kal El) processor powering this new tablet, this shouldn't be hard to speculate since Motorola and NVIDIA work in close quarters. The source also mentions that this new tablet will feature a display with pixel dimensions of 2048x1536 which will set new standards for future displays.

The rumour that the new tablet comes with Android 4.0 is surprising since the new OS was previously claimed to be a mobile operating system, which will merge the features of Honeycomb and Gingerbread into one, but we cannot disregard the possibilities. This new tablet could be the successor to the world's first Honeycomb tablet, the XOOM. ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) will be made available in the latter part of this year, which makes us feel if this would be the world's first ICS tablet. The form factor of the tablet is said to be very thin unlike the XOOM, which would make the device easy to handle and use. A confirmation about this from Motorola would be warming enough, but we cannot expect Motorola to break silence until ICS is launched, so this could be a long wait.
