Endeavour departs the space station for the last time

Against a starry sky and night-shrouded Earth, the space shuttle Endeavour is seen docked with the International Space Station for the last time on Saturday. The crew installed a particle physics detector, the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, and performed four spacewalks during their 11-day stay. On Sunday night the shuttle undocked 346 kilometres above La Paz, Bolivia.
Endeavour is scheduled to return to the Kennedy Space Center early tomorrow at 0235 Eastern Daylight Time. After completing its mission, the shuttle will retire to the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
